DailyEndorphin’s Tip of the Week – Running Multiple Challenges At Once
Greetings Daily Endorphers!
Your DE challenge tip of the week is running multiple wellness challenges at once and facilitating a “grass roots” effect at your company or group. Why consider running multiple challenges at once, you ask? Well, not only is every company culture or group different, but so is every person or sub-culture within any company or group. So, the idea here is that DE is set up to facilitate an environment whereby those different groups can set up and run smaller, more focused challenges with each other any time you want. This would allow those groups to focus on whatever items are most important to you, including which challenge option, types of exercises, goal levels that fit each group. This dynamic will serve to keep participants within those challenges more engaged and motivated throughout the challenge.
This can be done one of two ways: (1) you can set up multiple one-time challenges with your group and invite everyone to join any or all of the challenges they wish. (2) the easier, more cost effective way to is to do it as an annual DailyEndorphin group member, which allows you to set up as many challenges under that group that you wish, and your colleagues/group members can easily choose to join any/all of them via the one invitation URL or right from your user dashboards!
To make things easier on HR or whomever was/is the original DE group administrator, feel free to ask them to assign you as an additional group administrator yourself so that you can be a social leader or “wellness hero” at your company and start and run these challenges yourself.
You may also wish to utilize this feature as a way to facilitate year-round engagement in your wellness program leading up to one or two big company-wide challenge events in which nearly everyone participates. Enjoy!
