Size up your peers and compete by exercise minutes, points or distance. Or for those less competitive in nature, everyone can encourage each other to achieve individual goals. Configure the health challenge to your own specifications, so you decide how many points users should achieve. Incorporate any of our points-based nutrition and/or wellness objectives to any points-based exercise challenge (goal & competition formats), and spice things up a bit with a little healthy habits challenge!

DetailsFormat: team-based competition

Based On: average minutes of exercise or average points (intensity) per teammate – you choose. All exercises count. Our best starter challenge!

Duration & Start Date: 6 week challenge, start date up to you (DE recommends starting mid-week)

Reporting:
  • Team rankings – real-time from the user’s dashboard & weekly via email
  • Individual standings (*can hide if you wish) across 6 exercise categories, including overall
  • Winning team and teammates at the conclusion
  • Exceptional exercisers – listing of individuals exercising at least 3 days/week and 30 minutes/day at the conclusion
  • Custom reports – available for an additional charge


Incentives: manually set by the administrator and viewable from the user’s dashboard – DE recommends aligning with our reporting structure

Customize Further:
  • Add additional information or guidance to appear on the user’s dashboard
  • Change challenge duration – must be in full week increments. You can decide how long but DE recommends 6-8 weeks.
  • Select only specific exercise(s) to count in the challenge
  • Base challenge on exercise distance. Great for runners, bikers, swimmers, hikers, cross country skiers, etc!
  • Organize teams into conferences and divisions similar to a sports league (ideal for large groups who wish to compete in sub-groups within the bigger challenge!)
  • Create rule(s) – manually set by the administrator and viewable from the user’s dashboard, but NOT tied to DE’s logging or reporting structure (eg. “must exercise for at least 15 continuous minutes”)

DE is pleased to announce that participants who use FitBit devices may now sync them up to our platform during a DE steps challenge! No more manual entries necessary! Just set up and/or join our paid steps challenge, sync up your fitness device or FREE mobile app, and you are off and stepping! Our real-time leaderboard will do the rest.

We love to talk about nutrition and wellness, but what does it even mean? Teach your group vital lifestyle habits with this configurable points points-based challenge. Individuals or teams focus on completing daily nutrition and wellness objectives. You decide which parameters are important and where to set the bar. If you don’t like the default nutrition or wellness objectives we offer and wish to customize things a bit by adding your own, not a problem! During the 5-minute challenge set up, our program walks you through the short, easy steps to add your own custom nutrition & wellness parameters and points levels to your challenge. You may also set up a weekly focus to highlight main objectives throughout the challenge. This challenge maybe be conducted under either the goal or pure competition formats.

DE’s Lifestyle Challenge allows you to create a points-based competition or goal-based healthy habits challenge and set any combination of exercise, nutrition and wellness habits, and daily steps that fit your group’s health objectives, or all of the above. If including steps in your challenge, sync up your Fitbit device to limit manual entries and offer verifiable data points. It’s also highly configurable for you to add a few additional bells & whistles, so you can focus on your population’s objectives. You control which behaviors you want to highlight and reward.

  • DailyEndorphin is pleased to announce that those challenge participants who are using FitBit devices may now sync up their daily steps while participating in one of our paid steps challenges or lifestyle challenge that includes the steps data point. No more manual entries required! Just set up or join a DE steps or lifestyle challenge, sync up your FitBit device and our live real-time leaderboard will do the rest. Those challenge mates who are using other devices may also participate in the same steps challenge by easily making manual steps entries in your user dashboard while logged into our platform our on the go via our free mobile app.

  • At any time, the group administrator can edit your challenge, assign admin rights to additional group members, message your group, and move team members.

  • Teams may be organized into conferences (and divisions), similar to a professional sports league (outstanding feature for large groups) to facilitate “smaller sub-challenges within a bigger challenge” dynamic. The group admin may edit this structure or anything in your challenge at any time before or during the challenge.

  • When joining a team challenge participants can join an existing team or create their own team for others to join.

  • When creating their own teams, team captains can name and/or edit their teams.

  • Challenge standings are hidden a four days prior to the conclusion of the challenge to discourage cheating and create suspense.
